I've proudly called Beaverton home for 14 years. As a mother of five in Beaverton schools—Westview, Five Oaks, and Arco Iris—I know the importance of community collaboration to help every student thrive.
I have a Master's in Public Administration, and as a violinist, a deep love for the arts.
With five years of service as a Board Member at Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School, including my current role as Chair of the Development and Community Relations Committee, I’ve led initiatives to improve financial sustainability and strengthen school-community connections.
I also helped spearhead the creation of our strategic plan, ensuring the school’s vision aligned with community needs and input. As a result, teacher retention has increased, creating a better learning environment for students. I am eager to deepen and broaden this work on the Beaverton School Board, ensuring that every child has the support they need to succeed.
